This is the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse in Point Cabrillo, California. It was shot in the early morning after a half mile hike from the general parking area. There were dark shapes along the road on the walk in. It was dark and I could not figure out what they were as they were low down in the grass on either side of the road. The light from the lighthouse would sweep the field every few seconds and reveled deer laying all along the road. There were ok with me and did no move. It was a very cool experience. The reflections in the windows are the sunrise behind where I was shooting from. I thank you for your kind words and am glad to share!

Great shot - I always thought if lighthouses as being tall, but I guess if the location is high enough then the building doesn't have to be.
